Before Cless’ mother died in his arms, she told him that the terrible massacre had something to do with the pendant she and her husband had given Cless for his birthday… what could be the connection? Cless decides to visit his uncle in another town, but he has no idea his journey will take him much further afield. When they returned to the village, they discovered it had been burned down, and all its inhabitants had been murdered. But as soon as it stopped speaking, the two friends heard an alarm go off. Cless was chasing a wild boar when he came across a strange talking tree in the forest pleading for help. Cless decided to go hunting with his best friend Chester on another ordinary day. The game features a total of about 80 costumes.In Tales of Phantasia, the player takes control of a young boy named Cless, who lives in a peaceful village with his parents. For example, Dio can change into Samurai and Shinobi clothes while Mel can change into Nurse and Witch clothes. The two main characters of the game Dio and Mel can change into any of the clothes they are given, depending on the clothes the characters can change skills and obtain certain equipment. Battles take place in a 3D environment with 2D character sprites. Gameplayīoth games utilize the Cross Arts Aerial Linear Motion Battle System (XAR-LMBS) which is a tweaked version of the series’ Linear Motion Battle System which is used in almost every game in the series though each game features its own unique version of the LMBS.
The patch translated menus only not the story. The game’s theme song is Glass Flower (ガラスの花 Garasu No Hana) and was sung by Hanako Oku. The story begins 205 years after the beginning of Tales of Phantasia. The original game was the first sequel in the Tales series, which normally does not have connected storylines. Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X is a remake of the Game Boy Color role-playing video game, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon, for the PlayStation Portable developed by Namco Tales Studio and published by Namco Bandai.
